20 "Suggestions" On Love and Relationships

I would like to start out by saying I am by no means an expert on relationships, but I've had my fair share of the good, the great, the bad and the UGLY. I continue to see so many engagements and marriages, new relationships and old  rekindles, makeups and breakups, and it inspired me to think. Thinking leads me to read, reading leads me to write (what a great sequence). So without further rambling, here are my 20 Lessons Suggestions On Love and Relationships. (And thank you Nicole and Rob for letting me use this gorgeous photo).

1) NEVER STOP DATING...Don't get lazy, dont get too comfortable. Keep the courting alive.

2) ALWAYS protect your heart. You have to love yourself to truly love another. If you stop loving yourself, your partner is soon to follow.

3) ACCEPT the FACT that you will both CHANGE. You will constantly change. You’re not the same people as when you started dating and in five years you will not be the same person you are today and guess what the same goes for your relationship. The difference is once you accept this you learn to keep falling in love instead of out of it.

4) FORGIVE ... Right away and begin to focus on the future. DO not dwell on the past or the things you cannot change.

5) DONT TRY TO FIX THEM... But always be there to help and to listen.

6) TAKE FULL ACCOUNTABILITY for your own emotions: You are responsible for creating your own happiness.

7) STEP OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE.. and inspire your partner to do the same. Keep the excitement and adventure going.

9) ALWAYS MAKE EACH OTHER LAUGH

10) CHERISH WHAT YOU HAVE... Stop thinking the grass is greener. Realize what you have and appreciate it.

11) DON'T PROJECT YOUR INSECURITY.. Your emotions are your responsibility.

12)NEVER STOP MAKING OUT.... Ever.

13) UNDERSTAND THAT YOU BOTH WILL MAKE MISTAKES, no one is perfect it happens. Accept it and keep moving forward.

14) GIVE EACH OTHER SPACE…You need your alone time, your friend time, etc. and so does your partner. Cherish and Honor this.

15) DONT BE AFRAID TO TELL YOUR FEARS

16) ALWAYS BE HONEST.... Once trust is gone so is your relationship. If there is one piece of advice I would put my money on, this would be it.

17)SET GOALS AND ACHIEVE THEM TOGETHER

18) MONEY IS THE ROOT TO ALL EVIL. Remember that and do not let it get the best of you or your relationship.

19) ALWAYS SEE THE BEST IN EACH OTHER

20) ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE or maybe LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED ;)
