Looking at life through a new perspective

"Disappointment is the Universes way of preventing you from selling yourself short"

A simple quote that in my opinion can change one's life. Many times we let disappointment get the best of us causing stress, hurting one's self-esteem, and the like. The thing is disappointment is inevitable since we are part of a human race that is imperfect and therefore bound to make mistakes which effect ourselves and others. But when you look at it from this perspective I find that it offers hope. When you don't get what you want and you find yourself disappointed instead of letting it get the best of you.. see it in a positive light. There are better things coming your way, not getting what you want is protecting you from selling yourself short.
